Hirenomics in the Community: Habitat for Humanity

On September 10, the entire team at Hirenomics teamed up with the Minnesota-based chapter of Habitat for Humanity to work on a new home development in South Minneapolis. The home will be completed and dedicated to its new owners on December 3.

When Hirenomics arrived on the site, the initial framework of the house was nearly complete, and poor weather required the team to work indoors. Over the course of the day, Hirenomics employees worked with the site contractor and other Habitat for Humanity homeowners to paint the entire home and lay flooring in a number of rooms. The team encountered numerous challenges to face together, and shared laughter and good spirits during the experience.

Hirenomics was especially excited to be working on a “Women Build” house, a specialized Habitat for Humanity program that encourages female leadership in home development, construction, and project management.

The day was planned as part of a Hirenomics commitment to give back to the community on a regular basis. Employees are encouraged to engage in volunteer experiences outside of work and are challenged to increase their service hours annually. Additionally, each quarter, Hirenomics plans a community service opportunity for the entire Hirenomics team. The next day company-wide community service day will take place in December.
